I found Dr Heard and his staff to be very friendly , professional and efficient. I like that Dr Heard looks at you very directly with steady eye contact. After multiple years of putting off a dental issue, I had my first visit to Dr. Heard. In a short period of time I went from what I had convinced myself was a hopeless dental problem, to a complete solution. I now have a detailed, knowledge filled path forward on schedule, procedure, and even exact costs. All my questions were answered and I am completely relieved of my previous concerns. What a pleasant experience across the board including the friendly staff. That came as no surprise, as I know a few of the folks personally and they are great people outside of their work as well. Surely it's not a coincidence that they are part of the team there. I'm really looking forward to the procedures I have coming up and only wish I had went to Dr. Heard sooner.

This facility was wonderful. All of the employees were exceptionally caring and very knowledgeable about their job. The wait was a little long but that's what happens when the staff takes excellent care and time with each patient. Dr. Heard was also great. Very professional and informative.

On a scale of one to ten I give Dr. Heard a 100!!!!!!! I have never had such a wonderful experience at A Doctors office!!!!!!! All the staff treated me like I was FAMILY!!!!!!!! It was my first time there!!!! I had a tooth extracted..and had NO pain the next day!!!!!!!!!!!! That says a lot to me!!!!!!!!!! Please , if you need a Periodontist HE is the ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My visit at GCP was very pleasant. I don't like going to the dentist even though I keep up with my regular checkups, but I found my visit at GCP very pleasant and informative. My checkup went very well, and I asked a lot of questions and the dental hygienist and the doctor were very patient and answered all my questions, and it didn't seem like they were just rushing through everything. The doctor was very patient and addressed all my concerns.

Dental surgery makes anyone apprehensive. The team at Gulf Coast Periodontics makes you feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Heard is forthright and will not try to sell you something you don't need. I trust his judgment and his surgical skills. He personally calls you when you get home to make sure you are doing OK. I would highly recommend calling his office for any of your dental requirements

I have been under the care of Dr. Heard and Lisha for about 12 years now. I was once told by a dentist that I would likely lose all my teeth by the time I turned 50. Well, I'm 65 now and the 3 teeth I did lose were replaced by implants. It looks like I will get to keep the rest. Anyone who is looking at the worst should try Dr. Heard first before giving up their teeth!
